There are over 25,000 high schools in the United States. Each of them has a very special event coming up this month or next, and that is graduation. Here at The Rental Company, we have a few soon to be graduates of our own. We are incredibly excited to watch these students graduate and are impressed by their ability to balance working with all of the demands of high school. We know that they are going to do amazing things, so we wanted to share some highlights of their high school careers and what they are planning to do in coming years…
Anna Cole
is graduating from Hamilton High School and was deeply involved in theater. Her latest role was Belle in the high school’s production of Beauty and the Beast. Anna also is in the school’s Women’s Chorale which received an Excellent in the state competition. Anna plans to attend Grand Rapids Community College in the fall until she decides what it is she wants to major in. If Anna could have any dream job she would love to be an author.
Haley Allison
is in the Early College program and has been taking college classes since her junior year. She graduates from Hamilton High School this May and will complete the program and earn an Associate’s Degree next May. She plans to attend either Hope College or Alma College to study archaeology and criminal justice.
Kyle Allison
is involved in the building trades program at the Careerline Tech Center. After graduating from Hamilton High School, he plans to continue working and hopes to eventually become a licensed contractor of his own company. His sophomore and senior year, Kyle played football for Hamilton and helped take them to playoffs for the first time in many years.
Mikayla Myers
is a senior at Zeeland West High School, where she was involved in theater. Her last performance was in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night Dream, where she played the role of Puck. Mikayla is also involved in the teaching program at the Careerline Tech Center, where she won a certificate of excellence. She plans on going to Grand Valley State University to major in elementary level teaching. She is also the first employee to receive a scholarship from the American Rental Association.
We are so proud of all of our graduates this year, and we wish them all the best as they enter this new chapter in their lives!
